Manika is the youngest and the only competitor from a Polytechnic, in the AirAsia Cabincrew challenge.

Since young, she's had a desire to fly and when the AirAsia LIVE IT UP IN THE AIR challenge came about, she jumped at the chance.
Manika on a flight during her Secondary school days!
AirAsia setup a booth at Temasek Polytechnic, for contestants to shoot a video and upload it on their competition page. Based on the number of votes, the Top 50 contestants had to go through an Audition, judged by trainers from AirAsia's Cabin Crew Training Department.

From this, a select 9 Finalists were sent to Kuala Lumpur for an intensive 5 day cabin crew course.

Read about our AMS student Manika @ the AirAsia

LiveItUp in the Air Cabin Crew Challenge!

Vote for her and help her achieve her dreams!

Our youngest contestant for Live It Up In the Air is Manika, currently a student taking a Diploma in Aviation Management & Services at Temasek Polytechnic. Pair
that with working part-time in a restaurant, and you’ve got an awesome contestant who’s perfect in the air!

Manika learned during the Duty Free Challenge that adaptability and keeping her cool were crucial to placating customers – lessons she believes would definitely help in her restaurant job. “The important thing is to always keep smiling!” she surmises.

Check out how Manika did in her challenges; and vote for her if you just want to give her a thumbs up and a smile back. All that smiling and clicking could win you free tickets to Seoul, Osaka and Hangzhou!

The culmination was an inflight challenge, where the contestants were posed difficult situations, such as a demanding passenger, while being filmed!

Manika about to take a jump down the Emergency slide, during Aircraft Evacuation training!

We will post more about her experience with AirAsia, as she gets more votes!
