What : Overseas Community Project “Adopt a School Program”


When : 9 – 18 October 20 11.

Where : Pagudpud – Philippines

Cost : Estimated $1133.84 (50 % will be subsidized by TP for local students (Singaporeans/PRs).

Briefing: 29 July 2011 @ LT49 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM.



Activities
· Pre – expedition training

· Rehabilitate rooms (painting & masonry works)

· Teaching Engineering related subject.

· Interaction with locals via donation of clothes.

· Join local fishing through DAKLIS. DAKLIS is a technique of catching fish by means of netting, trapping, angling and hand gathering.

· Educational field trips – Visit the Wind Mill Power Plant.

· Friendly match game with the locals.

· Post – Expedition



The OCP – Philippines will only accommodate 30 students.

If the students are interested ask them to act fast due to limited slots and popular demand.

· Registration will start on 1 August and the deadline will be on 5 August 2011.
