we PLAY SIMULATION GAMES for modules such as Airlines Operations & Management. (Airline tycoon evolution).
PLAY & LEARN at the same time.

A1-D7 for English,
A1-C6 for Maths,

However, you have to retake & pass your English
after you have been successfully enrolled into this course.

If you have a score of 13 or 14,
you stand a HIGH CHANCE of getting into this course!!


The COP varies from year to year,
depending on the demand.
From the demand till now,
those who scored around 14 really do have a chance
to get into AMS.

So, DO CONSIDER.
don't be affected by last year's COP! =)

For those of you who would like to find out more about certain courses in TP
before you really make your decision,
you can COME DOWN to TP for some advice/info on courses

from Thurs-Mon (Excluding Sun).
JAE starts from 3pm on Thurs.

WHY AMS? (PART 3)


Options/Electives offered:
In the near future, AMS would start offering options/electives for students to
specialise in the following:
  • Air Traffic Management
  • Commercial Pilot


Additional plus point for AMS?

Besides getting a Diploma in Aviation Management & Services,
We have a whole module on Project Management, & Business Continuity Managment.
Students would actually be awarded a regconised cert
in Project Management or BCM
if they register & seat for their individual test.



Further studies after getting a diploma in Aviation Management & Services?

AMS Students are given advance standing at several reputable universities around the world.
Namely,
2 years of advance standing at
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
The BEST university offering Aviation management.
Which means that we only need to study for 2 MORE YEARS,

WHY AMS? (PART 2)




Aviation Management & Services is the FIRST of its kind in ASIA!

AMS curriculum is designed to meet industry competency standards &
university.

AMS modules are basically grouped into 4 catergories:
Aviation Operations & Services,
Business/management/marketing,
Aeronautical & facility sciences
Life skills



ADVANTAGE of AMS:

Singapore Youth Flying Club.
In AMS, we have the Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC) programme
whereby up to 15 of AMS students will learn to FLY
& get their PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL)
FOR FREE!



Various OVERSEAS study trips.
AMS students get to go on study trips TWICE a year during term breaks & vacations
For the 2 weeks term break, AMS students will get to go to asian countries
such as HongKong, Thailand (Bangkok), Malaysia (KL).

& for the vacation period, AMS students will get to travel to other parts of the world
such as US, Canada (Montreal), Europe!



Various local study trips.
In 2007, students of AMS went to Changi Airport Terminal 3
when it was not open to the public yet
for UP TO 8 TIMES!
With one of the trip giving us a chance to BOARD the A380
before the public have a chance to.
Our purpose at Terminal 3 was to help them
with operational readiness trials.

Besides that,
we even had LECTURES/LESSONS being held in Terminal 3!

Other than that,
we also had study trips to Terminal 2.
We had a chance to go into the transit area as a visitor.

AMS TALK (19th JAN)


'CAREER PROPECTS IN AVIATION' talk
by Aviation Management & Services
was held today in Temasek Polytechnic
at 9.30am.


Originally, the venue was at LT38.
However, with such overwhelming,
we extended the talk into 2 lecture theatres (LT 38 & LT41)!


Hope those of you who attended the talk
gained more knowledge about the aviation industry
& this diploma. =)
