It's our 2nd week of training and we have the privileged to have our training held at SIA Training Centre (STC) for Safety and Emergency Procedure (SEP), which is one of the most important parts of our training. It’s crucial to pass SEP, or else we are not allowed to fly. Thus, this was something we had to take very seriously, which explains the “intensive” and the tight schedules that we have for our SCOOT training.

We get nervous along the way with regards to the upcoming assessments (Yes… we have exams!)  But of course, most of the theories taught were very familiar to us (the benefit of being an aviator)! It was only the first week of training but we jumped straight into the serious stuff like Standard Operating procedures and countless hands-on lessons! (Emergency drills, slide jumping, firefighting etc.) We have also gotten much closer to our batch mates in such a short time!!

It was indeed a unique eye-opener for us as we get to see how Singapore Airlines stewardesses & stewards were being groomed, trained as well as being able to observe the environment at STC. It took a little time to get used to greet everyone and anyone we saw "Good morning", "Good afternoon" and "Good evening” but now it really just comes naturally. Nonetheless, we have had so much fun and it is just the first week at STC! More photos for you… J

While we’re having breaks….

SIA's very own training simulator!

Slide jumping training in our jumpsuits:)

During some of our drills, we have to save these two precious lives!
