We organised the second Singapore Aviation Camp on 20-21 June 2012 at our School of Engineering. This was attended by 26  Upper Secondary students from Dunman, Damai, Springfield and Temasek Secondary Schools.

Take off is easy, landing is the hardest part!
 Held over  2 interesting and fun-filled days, the camp involved various workshops on aviation, as well as a visit to the Singapore Aviation Academy.

Inside the Airport Emergency Services (AES) Fire Tender Simulator

Trying on the BA (Breathing Apparatus). We got to enter the darkroom, which simulates the dark & smoky environment that AES rescuers have to navigate through in a crash, as well as see Medium John, a weight-filled dummy that rescuers have to locate and rescue.
