CAAS Aviation Run

In line with its 25th Anniversary, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) held the Aviation Run on 21 November 2009 at Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC). Its aim was to bring together Singapore's aviation community, as well as raise funds for the Community Chest.

More than 4,000 runners from 116 organizations participated in the run. AMS, with more than 200 participants, won the Corporate Participation Challenge (Largest Number of Participants from an Organization) and the Corporate Distance Challenge (Largest Aggregate Distance Covered by the Participants of an Organization). Furthermore, 2 AMS students clinched the 1st & 2nd places in the 5 KM run category.

Overall, the run allowed AMS to come together for a good cause, and for many of our students, a good workout!
